My name is Samantha Myers (everyone calls me Sam). I am a senior in high school and I have spent many years in my free time taking care of animals, kids and babies!

I feel like I am a great babysitter because I understand how to make kids feel safe, how to have fun with them and how to engage them in activities.

I have been around babies, births, and families my entire life. My mom is a doula and when I was very young I used to go to work with her. I even got to attend a home birth this year and watch a baby friend be born! At home we have a small farm. I have three dogs, a bunny, chickens and a tortoise.

I spend my summers at Camp Alonim in Simi Valley being a counselor and running day programs for kids of all ages and abilities. I know how to care for your pets because I love animals and care for many of my own. My grandfather is a retired veterinarian and I got to go to his office a lot when he was practicing and watch him care for animals. I was taking care of my own pets at a very young age.

Besides building my babysitting and pet sitting company, I love to hike, snowboard, travel and cook. I am happiest when I am out in nature. I volunteer every year with Walk on Water Which is an organization where kids with disabilities are taught to surf. I love helping kids to get outside and feel strong in their bodies.
